Hi all, I have been looking through so many posts but can't find a tutorial about streaming from the Dreambox to a pc. I have a Macbook pro which I would like to take upstairs and watch some TV, I can connect to the box but when I try to stream to the pc the program IdreamX asks for a user name and password. The dreambox does somewhere say root and dreambox or dm800, neither of which work. I have tried on the macbook and tried using a pc with dcc both are asking the same thing.

OK, dcc on the ibm pc goes green, I then put the ip of the dreambox in the browser on the pc, using chrome, I can see all the channels with dreambox Webcontrol, there is a TV symbol and 2 rectangles, when I click on the TV it then opens another pop up with save stream m3u audio playlist which then ipens another browser window. Which it opens up itunes then there is a popup window which says 'the server with the ip at Enigma2 WebInterface requires a username and password Warning this server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection.' I use root as a password and dreambox as a password. It then starts to connect and then the same popup asking again for the username and password. Thats as far as I can get.
